A Glimpse of the New Chevy Malibu

2008chevymalibu

If you can’t wait until January to see the new models at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit — and based on the stream of news from the automakers, you can’t — then have we got the teaser image for you. Above is the front end of the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu. Chevy’s bread and butter family sedan is getting a major overhaul for the 2008 model year and sports the new corporate “face” for Chevy. We won’t make any definitive remarks until we see the whole design in person, but besides being an improvement over the current Malibu, it doesn’t quite knock our socks off…yet.

This one looks to have alot of style (i've seen the spy photos) and the interior should be great on refinement and fit and finish, so this should be another great malibu and a camry fighter! can't wait for the detroit auto show!

Is it just me?
I am seeing a SSR grille, and Yaris, Aveo-like headlight.

I look forward to driving this Chevy masterpiece at my local Avis. I'm sure they'll have tons of them.

Camry fighter? Now that's funny.

Cody

I think this face will be pasted on the front of the new Saturn Aura... at least they're not just changing the emblem on the front of the car anymore.

what the hell? the "faces" are different and the saturn aura is out on the market...duh!

Missy

Why buy this over Toyota ?

I'll buy it if it comes with Sirius Satellite.
Don't like XM.

The hood line must be changed. It should be at the seam between the hood and fenders.

This rounded hood look is not where it is at in 2008.

The hood and the Grill need to be connected...
