Where to Get a Bow for Your Four-Wheeled Gift

Lexusgift

If you’ve turned on the TV this holiday season, or during any of the past few, you’ve probably seen those Lexus ads where some lucky person gets a shiny new Japanese luxury car or SUV for Christmas. All of them have a great big bow on top. Now, where do you get such a big bow? Well, if you buy a Lexus you can actually arrange a holiday surprise through the dealer. According to the company, it provides each dealer with two bows for display purposes, then produces 550 more bows that can be purchased. Lexus says all the bows sell out before the holidays.

What if you want to get your sweetie a new car that isn’t a Lexus? Not to worry, there’s a website — www.kingsizebows.com — that will help you out with $48 bows in red, silver and yellow. What car would you ask Santa to put a bow on for you? Let us know in the comment section.

bows would appeal mostly to women. therefore, a bow on a beetle or mini or maybe even a yaris would create a feeling they would never ever forget.

I think if my wife put a bow on this for me I would be as happy as a little girl:

I want a Mini Cooper S. I don't care that it's not practical. I don't care that I'll have to travel virtually by myself. I want one, I want one, I want one. Hhmmmpphh.

You probably want one BECAUSE you won't be able to bring the kids...

I'd like a red Honda Element, with a manual transmission and the optional interior bike attachment. Oh, yeah, and the iPod attachment, too. That'd be sweet.

A 1967 Chevrolet Impala sedan, though a coupe would do.

A red 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider. Just like the one my dad had when I was growing up.

I'd like an Acura RDX, please. That, or some replacement parts for the silver Barbie Corvette with hot pink interior I got for Christmas in '84 -- I think my cat ate the steering wheel.

A '95 MR2 Turbo. It might actually fit under the tree, too.

Porsche Cayman or 911 base models would be just fine, thank you. I know I'll never afford one, so here's hoping Santa thinks I've been a good boy this year. Heck, even a new V6 Mustang would be cool.
