2006 L.A. Auto Show: Honda REMIX Concept
Honda used a high-profile car show to debut a pure concept: The REMIX was developed at the company’s Southern California design studio. It’s a front-wheel-drive, four-cylinder, six-speed manual sports coupe that’s supposed to be “fun to drive,” but which, like most concepts, probably can’t go very fast in real life. It sure is interesting to look at, though. More photos below.

honda copied the rear end of a crossfire.
Geez these people can put the "ick" in civic.
I barely see the Crossfire resemblance.
It's weird in a whole other way.
Looks more like the CR-X than a Crossfire to me.
j
good call on the CR-X. hadn't thought of that. Boy would the Honda fans go nuts if they brought that back.
Well, according to some sources, a European CRX is supposedly slated for for next year. No word on a US intro, though.
CRemiX. Ya see it? ;)
Looks to me like somebody has done went and done it. They have recreated the American Motors Gremlin.
is it just me or is this the modern version of the gremlin. yes.
It has a very interesting look to it not a very nice look in my opinion. I agree with matt i think it is a modern version of the gremlin.
Honda always makes their cars based on their past models. It looks more like a Honda Insight and a Civic CRX than a Chrysler Crossfire.
Other car makers look at Honda's concept cars and built along waht they see. Since it usually takes a longer time for a concept car to be actually produced, I don't see that sales are gonna be low for the Remix. Other Honda models have paved the way for the Remix, so yea I believe it will be a good seller. It looks very futuristic.
Take look at the 1999 Honda Spocket Concept. Toyota built their 7th Generation Celica around the Spocket.
Let's remember that all concepts look different that they really will look like when produced. It's just their vision of a future model.
Love it. Would buy one tomorrow if it made it to the market looking like this. Does look a little like a beetle or a woman with a wide arse from the rear.
