Ford Making Stability Control Standard by 2009

2007fordfusion

After word that the government may mandate standard stability control around 2010, Ford announced today that it wouldn’t have to worry about any government infractions. The company says every Ford, Lincoln and Mercury car and truck will have stability control as a standard feature by 2009. Currently, stability control is standard on mid- and full-size Ford SUVs, and will be standard on small SUVs and upcoming crossovers like the Ford Edge and Lincoln MDX MKX by the end of 2007. We’re big fans of stability control technology and expect other major automakers to follow Ford’s move.

Lincoln MDX? I sure bet Acura won't like that the FoMoCo guys stole their name. I suspect it's a typo. :)

Thanks. it's fixed now. Two problems caused that.
1. I'm writing something else right now on the mdx and got my wires crossed.
2. It shows off how bad the name designation by Lincoln is to begin with. You think I'll be the only one that makes that mistake? MDX and Aviator are a little harder to get confused.
