The all-new 2007 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited is every bit set to offer customers more off-road all-wheel-drive capability and power, spacious interior room, and the excellent driving and handling performance.

The jeep wrangler is and has been WAY over priced for a long time. The thing costs to damn much for what you get. I have a used older jeep and I would love to have a new one but I will keep buying pickup trucks with 4 wheel drive. I will keep passing up on getting a new wrangler until the price is equal to what im getting. There is not anyone who can tell me that buying a $28,000 jeep is better than buying a $32,000 Crew Cab Full size. I know that the jeep is alot better off-road than any truck but seriously not many jeeps owners are rock crawling these things.

I just got doe test driving a new 2007 wrangler unlimited, unfortunately I'm a little disappointed. I was all set to buy one but now I'm not sure the backseats are not carseat friendly because you can not remove the head rests. The drivers seat seems a little more cramped than my 2002 wrangler sport due to the center console and the window crank driving into my leg. This thing is supposed to be 5.5 inches wider obviously it's not on the inside.

The 2007 Wrangler is a big improvement over the TJ but there are 3 design problems that really disappoint. Here's hoping Jeep redesigns these fairly obvious design oversights early in the model life:
1. The console is so high and wide that the inboard seat belt tether is 3-4 inches to short to allow fastening the seat belt with one hand. There is just not enough room between my hip and the console to get my inside hand down low enough to click-in the seat belt without shifting my inside leg up and using one hand to pull the latch up and away from the console and one hand to pull over the lap belt. (why not use a slightly longer seat belt strap with a stiffer plastic collar on the inboard seat belts ?)
2. Those 2" diameter circular door lock buttons, when unlocked, swing out at the front to block using your outside arm/finger to open the door. When trying to open the door, either the back of your hand presses the button to relock it or the top of your fingers are scraped by the very sharp plastic edge on the locking buttons.(why not pivot the locks out at the back or mold in depression or cresent moon shape on the front edge of those big locking circles AND smooth those skin scrapping edges ?)
3. The Freedom hardtop routes a lot of rain water down the front edge of the front door plus the back edge of the front door. In freezing conditions this water is very likely to ice up and freeze the door shut. In a medium rain, opening either of the front doors results in water pouring into the interior on the floor as it follows the eavetrough likee effect that the gap between the windshield frame and the front of the removable top creates (why isn't there a small angled 3/16" piece of rubber attached to the outside of the two other corners of the removable tops to act as a water dam to divert the water out of these two joints and backwards into the roof gutter ?)

I have a 2007 unlimited 4 door. Since the second day of owning this beauty, the automatic acceleration control warning light has been going on (a red lightning bolt).
I have now owned the Jeep for about one month. It has been in the shop 3 out of 4 weeks and it still is not running correctly.
Frequently the RPM's will drop on the freeway (to zero)..I have to restart it while driving along the freeway to get going again. Also, the rpm's skyrocket frequently while in neutral.
Walser Jeep in Hopkins MN has given me unwashed dodge stratus and a neon to drive while they try to fix the problem. Major pain getting any answers from them (i have to call them, they usually do NOT call back). Seriosuly, it is some of the worse customer service I have ever received. Very frustrated! It is like being in a horrible relationship.

I like the new wrangler x. it is the first wrangler i seem to fit in. The hard top is the only top i would even consider, as the dealer broke the sunrider top in 2 places trying to show me how "easy" it was to get open. I would like to have more info about the engine cutting of at higeway speeds. Boy the steel blue looks great.

We purchase a Jeep Unlimited X 4 doors in last october. We only had one issue with it so far which is to be expected with a brand new model. The motor was idling too low (like if the motor was gonna stall)and the gas consumption was outrageous. We thought that we had made a huge mistake in purchasing it because it drove like a cow. But the dealership found out that the map sensor( dont ask me what the hell that thing does!) was defective. Something related to the atm pressure being not adjusted properly.
All in all we love the jeep! We owned a 2 door previously (TJ '97), and this is the same but limo style. We personally don't understand why anyone would complain about owning a beautiful jeep.

I'm having some of the exact same problems. My jeep completely died at a red light when I had had it for 1 month. I thought that it was a fluke. But then my ignition is also getting stuck where when I turn the key it sticks and keeps trying to start. The final straw is when I was driving along the intestate this week and the engine got really loud and then all of my lights flew on. I immediately pulled over b/c I thought that it had died. Turns out that it didn't but I think that it was shear luck. I think that it started to die but the engine ended up catching again. I just picked it up today from the dealer and they didn't do ANYTHING to it since the "couldn't reproduce" the problem. I had to throw a fit to even get a rental car. UGH - talk about horrible customer service from the dealership. I was so frustrated that I called and complained to Jeep. Have you had any luck with getting yours fixed yet? I'm hoping that maybe you might be able to offer some guidance. My dealership didn't even bother to research the problems thru Jeep. I now am scheduled with a different dealership.
Any help or suggestions would be MUCH appreciatedc!

I don't know how much Jeep has improved on this model, but prior to the gas price going UP crazy, I was a lot into 4X4. However, I would never consider this vehicle because of sthg that I've seen personally. It was in the around 2000, and I was at the scene of a car crash. It was at an intersection. One of the vehicle was a car - a Toyota Camry I believed, the other one was a Jeep (TJ/Wrangler...sorry I dunno, but this style, ok?). The car's front was badly damaged, but the Jeep...oh man, I saw the front (engine compartment) at one corner of the street, the middle section in a 2nd corner, and I guess you probably know by now, the back is somewhere else - on the grass of a pedestrian sidewalk somewhere. I saw the probable reason why the vehicle fell apart - it seems that the Jeep was bolted together at various points with those BIG screws/hinges, and I could see that some of those screws were bent, but the majority were missing. Lots of blood on the ground around the Jeep's middle section.
From that point on, I knew that this vehicle's a death trap. And to be honest, unless the body of this vehicle has been completely re-engineerd, I will always discourage people from buying this death trap.

Here's an update: The 2nd dealership doesn't want the information that some of you have given me regarding my Jeep. The 1st dealership has essentially stated that Jeep is afraid of the Lemon Law. However, they are going to contact the dealership that has actually fixed the throttle problem (thx George!). In the meantime, since it isn't a searchable problem, I just filed a complaint with the Office of Defects Investigation (www.nhtsa.dot.gov). I hope that this will force Jeep to fix the throttle problem - engine keeps stalling. Thanks for all of your help - hopefully my dealership will now fix my problem!

My 2007 Wrangler X has also had issues with the ignition getting stuck in the cranking position. I also reported this to the dealership, and received the response that they couldn't reproduce the issue.
The more I search on the Internet, the more I'm hearing of this issue occuring with other 2007 Wrangler owners.
Has anyone out there had this issue successfully diagnosed? I would greatly appreciate some hard facts, with which to approach my dealership.

I took delivery of a 2007 Wrangler Unlimited in November, 2006. I was lucky enough to order the vehicle and not purchase off a lot due to an incentive Jeep offered/offers for returning war veterans. I spec'd out the options that make a Jeep a Jeep.
Claire Jeep, Boston, MA was a pleasure to deal with and a knowledgable soure of information for the product they sell and endorse.
ONLY problem to date is Freedom hard top water leakage. Anyone having problems with water infiltration?

Anyone come up with a solution to the obnoxious flapping of the front seatbelts when the doors are off??? It seems to be due to the placement change of the seatbelts and the flapping occurs at the bottom ... no way to strap it tight ... any ideas anyone???

I have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. On four separate occassions my Jeep has lost total power and stalled. After a few seconds, 3-5, it powers back up and I resume my travel. It began happening with just a few thousand miles on it. It now has 14k and they can't find the problem. They have replaced my ignition switch twice. I have filed for arbitration. It's really dangerous!!! It happened twice on the highway and twice while accelerating (2nd gear). All of my dashborad lights illuminate, my rpms drop, my radio and heater/ac fan shut off, and I was booted out of cruise control. A Chrsyler rep is looking at it this Wed. for a final repair. I'm finding that this is becoming a common theme. Any suggestions on literature to bring to my arbitration board?

In case Jeep reads these forums, I was going to go test drive a Jeep Limited. Not now. Their dealers' lack of support for your issues is not one I want to explore.

I too purchased a 2007 wrangler unlimited X, mine would die for no reason at an idle on the freeway or motoring through a parking lot it spent the first 6 months of its life in the shop in oly wa. they looked at it, the area rep. looked at it, then an engineer from dymler/chrysler looked at it. they changed everything under the sun and it still left them scratching thier heads, they decided it was a factory defect at which time the dealership refused to provide me with alternate transportation. icalled diamler customer care and they provided me with a rental and informed me that an arbitration company would be in contact over vehicle replacement under the lemon law I was contacted and told to find a like jeep on a lot, record the vin # and contact the arbitrator. I found 6 jeeps, 2 were at the dealership that i bought the first one from. They all declined to participate in the replacement of the jeep. so the next step was to have to order a new jeep throught the original dealership. at this point the manufacturers customer service rep. informed me that they would no longer pay for a rental becouse i elected to order a new jeep instead of picking one from a dealership! I explained that I was not the one to blame here as I had chosen several different Jeeps and those dealerships declined to participate... his reply was... well they have that right! but we still will not cover the rental expences so i had to make a monthly payment on a jeep i no longer owned and pay for rental expences to boot! the good news is that when they have to replace a vehicle the manufacturer puts your new vehicle at the head of the line.
The new jeep has everything I wanted (that I could afford) and in the color I wanted etc and it runs great. just recieved a phone call from the dealership that there is a recall on these vehicles for a glitch in the software and they have new software developed to correct the problem now my new jeep was built with the new software installed and I have had no problems what so ever with the new replacement... THERE IS SOMTHING TO BE SAID FOR WAITING FOR THE SECOND MODEL YEAR, BEFORE YOU BUY!

I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara in May and have had light problems, windows, and then this week the car stuck with a cranking issue, like some of you have had.
I just got off the phone with my dealership "Software Issue" is what they said, and they are updating my software when they get it and that should fix it.
I also found 2 recall notices and both of those say "software update needed"
Good luck everyone.

I just purchased a 2007 Wrangler X in May. I haven't had any mechanical problems so far. The only issue that required a trip back to the dealer was leakage of what looked like black silicone sealant from where the door frame meets the roof right above the drivers door. I'm still getting really bad mileage (12-14mpg) with mostly highway driving. The dealer told me that's normal during the "break-in period". I've got 3500 miles on it now, and I'm about to take it back in to have them find the cause.
I've also had a problem with water leaks. Mine was leaking from the split between the front panels and puddling on my dash and around my shifter. I smacked the roof a couple of times, and that appeared to have jiggled it into the sweet spot so that it doesn't leak now. I have had a horrible time with water dripping into the cab after rain or a car wash. I have also found a puddle of water on the floor in front of the passenger seat after a car wash (still trying to figure that one out).
Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase. After driving Toyota pick-ups for 20 years, this did take some getting used to. In comparison to other vehicles I've driven, this thing handles like a brick. I'm slowly getting used to it.
BTW - That window crank is in a really bad position and the map pocket in the door needs to be larger.

I have just purchased a New 2007 Wrangler unlimited X and have had a whistler that seems to be coming from the front windshield. anyone know what it could be? the Dealer has changed the TSB seals and still whistling. Prior to delivery we had the windshield replaced due to a rock chip. I think I may ask to have the windshield replaced again with them keeping the Jeep overnight to set the seal.

just goes to show what ppl will put up with for some flash. you are a bunch of enablers who support the company's pathetic inattention to quality and allow them to continue to dump poor workmanship onto our American market. this site has estimated the Camry to be the top 3 most "American" car; it's evidence that an American car CAN BE RELIABLE.
can you imagine if a Camry had all the problems the Wrangler gets???? nobody would buy a fuddy Camry if a 2007 model would DIE at a light. that's right, i hate these gas-guzzling vehicles and am using this as a way to vent.

My 2007 Sahara Unlimited almost left me stranded. The automatic xmsn shift is off by one notch. When I put it reverse, I have to go to nuetral and when I go to drive, I have to go to D1 and then back to Drive. Has anybody had this problem?

I have had numerous problems with my 2007 Jeep Unlimited 4x4. Stalling, roof leaks and now brake failure. So far only stalling has been fixed and the dealer is getting more use out of the truck than me. The brake issue is very scarey and Chrysler refuses to give my dealer info to fix until a recall is issued. Customer Service is nill. Never buy another Jeep until Chrysler gets with the program.

I have had the same problem as many of you have had with Leakage and whistling (2007 Wrangler Unlimited 'X')...All I can say is its in the shop (again) forthe 6th time and Chrysler has done nothing to aid in this situation...I am beyond Frustrated and would love to know if Anyone out there has had any luck with this problem?

I wish I would have waited until the 2008 to buy a 4 door Wrangler. I have had the stalling while driving problem and that was fixed with the recall in July. I have the leaking when it rains hard, I have the whistling from the windsheild, but the biggest issue is not starting. Sometimes it starts , then the next time I get in, it may take 3 or more attempts to start. The worst was being stranded in my kids school parking lot for 1 1/2 hours trying to start it. When it got to the dealership , they too could not start it until the 3rd attempt, then it started every time after that. I got the same run around that many of you have gotten-- they couldn't "replicate" the problem, so they did NOTHING. And then they have the nerve to say that they have not heard of anyone having this problem. I wish I still had my Mustang! I had to get the radio/CD player replaced after only 2 months - the CD's got stuck in it. Did I ever get my CD's back like they said I would? NO. They basically said "o, well, too bad." You would think with the big car companies in the US not doing so well that Crysler/Jeep would be trying to do customer service a little better.

I posted above regarding the stalling/cranking problem. I had the recall completed on my Jeep and it has stopped stalling but still has the cranking problem - the dealership is telling me that that is normal - that its supposed to do this. Anyone actually had their's corrected? Also, another problem that I have is that if I hit a slight bump in the road (I can't figure out the rhyme or reason to when it will happen)my Jeep starts bouncing up and down very violently and will pretty much jump me out of my lane. The only way to stop it from jumping is to then come to a complete stop in the road and then its like it resets itself. Anyone else having that problem???

I bought my 2007 4 door wrangler X in may, I have just turned 3000 miles and I noticed that the engine rear main seal is leaking oil (half dollar sized spots on my driveway),being a trained auto technician, with over 20 years experiance, I know that this is not normal. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem yet. I am PISSED at Jeep, what do I have to do re-build the engine myself so it does not leak? Or leave it up to some idiot tech at my local dealership. It looks like these guys can't fix anyone elses problems either!

I have an 2007 Jeep Wrangler X and I must say that it was a great 6 months. Now, in the 7th month, I have had nothing but problems. I have spent hours online researching the problem, and no one seems to be having this problem. I am getting so mad, my car has been in the dealership 3 times and they said that they do not know whats wrong with it. They can't replicate the problem. For some reason, it sprays windsheild washer fluid when I honk the horn. Sometimes when I turn the key, it sprays windsheild washer fluid. Last time it happened, it sprayed and honked when I turned the key. WTF? It only happens once in a while. Not all of the time. I love the car, but I think I am going to trade it in for a Chevrolet because I can't afford to pay my 360 a month payment on a car that is in the shop most of the time. I don't know what else to do. If they can't fix the problem, then they better replace it because if they don't, it will be the last Chrysler product ever bought in my household.

I just purchased a 2007 Wrangler X Soft Top. All standard.
This is by far the best vehicle I have owned. I knew when I bought it their would be some issues with water leakage. But so far it happens only when I open the door. It runs straight off the roof to the interior. Other than that one issue, it has been a joy to drive. (knock on wood)
Gas mileage is actually the same as my 2006 Ford Ranger Extended cab. I was surprised by that. I expected much worse mileage. I hope that Chrysler does address all the other issues you guys have had soon. Good luck.

I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler in April and I have had 2 Clutch Release Bearing replacements, a clutch assy replaced, an electrical module replaced and now the 3rd Clutch Release Bearing is toast. The electrical module replacement was due to the Jeep stalling on the hwy at speeds of 110km/h. Also, my stereo was replaced because it was turning off and on by itself. They didn't find anything wrong with the radio but replaced it anyways.
The dealership I am dealing with has been very helpful and attentive to my problems with this Jeep.
It is very inconvenient to have all these things go wrong and have them all be the same thing. Especially, the Jeep not even being a year old.
On Sunday, my Jeep dash lights came on but the vehicle didn't stall. The battery light stayed on until I shut off the Jeep and restarted it. The battery light disappeared. Also, I have smelled burning 3 times while just driving into town where the speed limit is 50km/h. So no, high speeds. And the Jeep's new clutch seems harder to shift, like I need to move the stick a wee bit left or right to shift into 2nd gear. I thought that it was just the new clutch story, but some people have told me that it is an alignment issue with the clutch assy and the tranny.
I am off to the dealership this aft to find out what else can be done to fix this Jeep. Honestly, I am beginning to think that I bought a Jeep finished on a Friday afternoon or a Monday morning. Cheers to Jeep fans!

I have around 8,000 miles on my 2007 Rubicon. The engine began making a clattering noise at 7,000 miles. It is most evident between 2500 and 3000 RPM and begins as the engine starts to warm. So far, the dealership has told me that there were loose bolts on the exhaust manifold (that didn't fix it and they replaced the lifters (that didn't fix it). The front axle was also leaking oil (they did fix that). Has anyone else had problems with a clattering noise in the engine?

I have owned my 07 x unlimited since august. there was a recall on the braking system which I never had a problem with, but while at my dealership they checked out a few other problems, the cranking when turning on the car-that is a fixable problem, the dealers know about it but jeep did not issue a 'recall' on that one. My engine revs up too, they could not duplicate the problem so I am documenting everytime it happens and where it happens. I don't like the fact there is no drip edge, I get wet getting in, does anyone know if there is an after market drip edge? Other than that I love my jeep, I have the red rock, it is awesome, when the sun hits the metalic paint, it looks like a canyon in the afternoon sun, like burnt orange. the sunrider is cool too,

I bought my jeep wrangler new in 2002. After a hard rain I found about 15 gallons of water on the floor both passenger and driver. Afterward the check gauges light wouldn't shut off then the airbag light wouldn't shut off. I was driving down the road and all gauges were dead. Gas at empty speedometer on 0??? Then it just died. I started up drove a few more miles and dead again. Now I'm having trouble getting it to start at all. Keep it covered during rain storms. I thought these things were supposed to work in mud and water??? Anyone else with this problem? If so how to solve?

I have a 07 wrangler that also has problems with the water leakage. I have taken it in twice for the dealership to fix....they did not. After the 2nd time, I threw a fit and made them put in a line-x spray in liner on the interior...at their expense. It still leaks a little on both the driver and passenger doors (front corner). I also have seen the black "goop" coming out from around the door....don't know what it is. Otherwise, it is a beast in the mud and very fun to drive.

Good luck, my jeep was also having the "dying" problem, the dealership reprogrammed my software and it is still happening....it is currently in the shop to see if they can "duplicate" the problem, which they've previously been unable to do. I have contacted Jeep and they are supposedly working with the dealership to correct the problem....the most disappointing thing is nobody but me seems concerned that I'm driving this thing around while it's still having problems....me and 2 kids!!!!

I recently purchased a 2008 Sahara Unlimited. It has a manual transmission and stalls frequently, feels like a dog dragging its #%*!! It's been at the dealer for fourteen days now. They state they don't have the technology to diagnose/repair the problem. Unbelievable!! Chrysler is sure in deep! Now with their bull#$&* "Lifetime" warranty. They surely will not be in business long enough to back it up. Probably already lobbying for yet one more bail-out by US GOV. I couldn't be any more disappointed in this American built piece of crap!

I LOVE everything about my Wrangler Unlimited (Sahara). But the problem below and how its being handled could cause me to buy my first non-Jeep vehicle in over 15 years.
I am having the same leakage problems. Those of you only having leakage when you open the doors are being affected by the water being channeling from the seal between the windshield frame and top to the channels where it secures above the front doors, water is then leaking into the cab (onto the doors, seats) from above the driver and passenger doors from the relief areas in the plastic retainers (above the front doors) that allow for accordion folding the soft top. I know this because I have it at the dealership three times and tried to explain to them what is going on. Their “leak specialist” can’t fix it. HELP PLEASE! Here is a link from an article that identifies the problem.

Being a VW Thing owner in the seventies, I got very interested in the four door Wrangler. Hhowever after reading the posted comments I will most definately pass. Interestingly, I owned an 80's Renault Alliance (Chrysler connection) which had the identical engine cutout symptoms mentioned by some. Nobody ever was interested in figuring it out at that time either. The engine would just cutout, usually at freeway speeds, meaning you would need to get over and out of the way of people that had normal vehicles. Once you stopped it would restart, and probably wouldn't happen again for several weeks or months. Nice to know that some things never change.

I bought a 2007 Sahara (2 door) last summer. The only problem I've had is some genius at Jeep thought it would be a good idea to use plastic clips to lock down the back window of the soft top. The clip on the left, where the rear door latches, keeps popping off. I've had the dealer work on it 4 different times now. Their last attempt was to glue it down. This didn't work. The service department at this dealership in San Diego near Mission Valley is fantastic and highly recommended, but this clip is an obvious defect - on my vehicle at least. I bet it becomes an even bigger problem as these clips start to wear with time.

I ve recently had the same issues with the lack of starting. It seems that it happens after ive used my headlights and heater on the night before. I ve had to jump start my jeep the past two mornings and when taken to the dealership they have no clue as it seems other people have in posts mentioned before. Is there any one solution out there that people are aware of. I m finding that it starts for the service people at the dealer and the tests come out fine but only after Ive jump started it myself this is the 3 rd time it has not started in the past month and still no solutions. Any Ideas?

Are all these stalling problems with automatic transmission?
I've had my '07 Wrangler (manual transmission) for a little over 8 months and zero problems. Got the brake recall - took it to the dealership - no problems.
Good luck to you all - but if it's because of the automatic transmission I only ask - why even BUY a Jeep with automatic transmission? :) j/k

I just bought a 2007 Unlimited Sahara 4 door this week. So far so good on starting, but I have only driven it for 3 days. However, my vehicle was not part of the recall, at least not yet. There is a lot of wind noise coming through the 2 front top panels of the Freedom Top. The Navigation icon seems to be not always tracking my driving. The Sirius radio sometimes stops for a second or 2. I love the vehicle as far as the drive and fun of it, but am now scared it will die sooner than later. We will see. I also will wash it this weekend and see if the Freedom Top leaks...
Please feel free to contact me.

I have a 2007 wrangler X and i think it may be the biggest waste of money i ever spent. I love this jeep and all it can do, but wtf is wrong the check engine light comes on every 2 weeks ive had it at 3 different dealers they all tell me that it is a faulty E.R.G. valve and that they replaced the part, but the problem still remains. Now for no reason the red lightning bolt thing is on and it will not run at all you can push the gas all the way to the floor and the rpm's just barely reach 2 grand. I also had the starter problem where it keeps turning over after it has started. Gary the tech said its designed to do that. Ive had this jeep nine months and it have been in the shop 8 times at 3 different dealers it is painfully obvious that the Jeep god's have left us to fend for ourselves.

I bought a 2007 Wrangler 4-door last September and have had the same issues with it not starting. I had it back to the dealership that I bought it from and they replaced a Cam sensor on it. I have also had it back twice now for an oil leak. They first time they told me that the oil pan was not tight enough, so they tightened it. The next time, they told me that it is an issue with a porous timing cover. They replaced that earlier today, but I still appear to be dripping oil and now it is hard to start again, similar to before the Cam sensor was replaced.

I'm taking my 2007 Wrangler in for the fourth time due to Throttle Position Sensor problems (as indicated by the little lightning bolt idiot light on the dash).
The first time they said it was programming.
The second time they replaced the TPS.
The third time they replaced the PCM (power control module) and the throttle.
The next day the light was back on and so I drove back to the dealer to show them. The service guy who fixed went all dumb and said "That's strange." NSS!!!
It might be time to look at the lemon law.

My car was in the shop 5 or 6 times within the first 11 months of ownership. I love the car a lot, but thats insane. The washer fluid would spray when turning the key, it would also sometimes honk the horn as well or both when turning the key. Hasn't happened since the last time I brought it to the dealership, been almost two months now. They never did anything to fix it. I did have a recall performed the last time I was in so maybe that corrected the problem, even though the recall was for something completely different. A few of my friends have the new models as well, and they have had no problems. Maybe I shouldn't have bought a first year model.

I have a 2007 Wrangler X. I had the brake recall addressed but had not had any problems with brakes. The only problems I have are with the roof (soft top). I have the leaks at the front of the doors and the problem with the rear left clip popping off and letting rain leak in the back. It pops off as soon as I put the lip of the sail under it. A friend with an Unlimited has the same problem. I am about to get a 3rd clip. It probably won't make a difference but at least it is building a record. This is my first Jeep and I am really enjoying driving it.
