2007 Lincoln Navigator Pricing Announced

Lincoln's redesigned Navigator full-size SUV will arrive at dealerships in September with a base price of $45,755, ranging up to $50,655, not including an $820 destination charge. Following recent trends at Ford, the prices are less than the outgoing 2006 models. The reason for the lower prices is to reduce the amount of incentives the company has to hand out as it trims its profit margins in exchange for more sales and higher residual values.

The 2007 Navigator features a radically redesigned front grille and an upgraded interior. There's also a new frame and independent suspension. The Navigator is roughly $5,000 less than its closest competitor, the new Cadillac Escalade. However, the 300-hp engine is much less powerful than the 403-hp engine in the Cadillac while delivering roughly the same mileage: 13 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.
