2007 Dodge Nitro Pricing Is Here
Dodge is banking on the all-new Nitro compact SUV out this October. Today the company announced the price for the SXT base model is $19,225 for the 4x2 and $20,735 for the 4x4. The mid-range SLT model is $22,635 for the 4x2 and $24,145 for the 4x4. None of the prices include a $660 destination charge.
These prices are slightly lower than those for comparable Jeep Liberty models, and are competitive with others in the segment. The Nitro is based on the same platform as the Liberty and is made at the same assembly plant. Of course, the new Nitro won’t see the nearly $5,000 Employee Price Plus discount the 2006 Liberty has right now.
The Nitro SLT features the same 210-hp V-6 engine as the Jeep, but a more-powerful 255-hp version will be included exclusively in the top-of-the-line Nitro R/T. It costs $25,310 for the 4x2 and $26,990 for the 4x4 and will join the SXT and SLT on lots toward the end of the year.

I Like It!
I like it too. If they actually offered a Diesel version in the US I would buy one right now.
Be still my heart, and me too, I want one in Diesel too. Surely they can change out a gas tank to fit one. 20 inch wheels? amazing. Where is the spare located? Saw this on a 30 min show on TV the other day, but not the inside too well just stressed the outside.
