Mazda MX-5 Retractable Hardtop Video

Retractable hardtop convertibles are the latest trend in open-air driving. A slew of new models is already on the market, including the Volvo C70 and Pontiac G6. In a few months Volkswagen will start selling its new Eos. But we were still surprised when Mazda announced that one of the most renowned soft-top roadsters of all time was adding a hardtop to its model range. For those who want to see the roof in action, check out this video courtesy of LeftLaneNews.

Cool. If I had the money, I might buy one. Too bad the price of electricity, heat, insurance, etc., is going up faster than my pay. I don't have anything left over for an indulgence like this. Plus, I need to save for retirement since they're cutting my pension. I just don't have money left over for a new car.
