An Explorer For Your Ironman

Ford rolled out its limited edition 2007 Ironman Explorer in June to promote its sponsorship of the Ironman Triatholon but this is the first official image we’ve seen. The special edition SUV sees some new exterior treatments like black body molding, amber fog lamps and a blacked out grille. OK, we’ll admit we like the blacked out grille.

But we’re still not sure we see the perfect tie-in here even if you can get plenty of gear into an Explorer. The Ironman Explorer goes on sale in September and features an exclusive Orange Frost exterior color.
