Dodge Challenger Concept a Reality, In 2008

Challengerannouncement2

Before the big NASCAR race this Saturday — and by big, we mean even Vice President Dick Cheney was in attendance — Chrysler announced that the Dodge Challenger concept would enter production in 2008 as an ’08 model. The company has even launched a public website for the hotly anticipated two-door, that debuted at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

In the short history of KickingTires, this is the furthest out we’ve listed a model in our Forecast section. If you’re saving your bucks for a muscle car, it’s good to know that in two years you could have more to choose from. Now we just have to wait to hear about that Chevrolet Camaro Concept.
