GM Rep All But Confirms New Silverado

Silveradogrill

At a General Motors press event today in the Chicago suburbs, Chevrolet’s General Manager Ed Peper jokingly referred to the next generation Silverado pickup truck and confirmed an internet rumor at the same time.

During a PowerPoint presentation he stated that he couldn’t show us photos of the next generation Silverado, one of GM’s biggest sellers, until closer to an official unveiling date later this year. But the sly exec then clicked to the next slide, which showed the widely circulated spy photo you can see here. He then all but confirmed the shot as authentic by saying, “We’ll try to run it through a carwash before [you see it next time].”

Oh, and if you want to know about the future of the Camaro concept, Peper said official word would come down from GM later this summer on whether the heavily anticipated concept would get the green light for production.
